not to be like that but lets not pretend ashley wasnt deeply hurt by shepard joining up w/ cerberus i mean however shepard feels regardless -- as soon as she saw shepard she greeted them /so warmly/ 'you're in the presence of a god -- back from the dead' 'you were more than our commander' there is so much emotion and warmth and pain in her vc on horizon because she had so much faith in shepard and from her pov shepard went and joined .... a whole human terrorist organization like ... i'm not saying ashley was completely justified later on but ???? her refusal to join up w/ shepard and her refusal to come along w/ shepard ... makes sense and is understandable and lbr here one of the only reasons the virmire survivor is villainized for not joining up on horizon is bc they refuse to comply w/ shepard--who when you /really/ think about it -- doesnt look That Good s showing up on horizon w/ cerberus in tow after a colonys been wiped out like... yeah no shit ashley was suspicious and thats not even counting if u did the cerberus missions in me1 where theyre doing Horrific Experiments like YEAH.. NO WONDER.... NO WONDER!!!! and shepard was DEAD n brought back by cerberus??? who KNOWS what theyve done to shepards body like its??? her suspicions arent baseless here anyways ashley was Deeply hurt by the events of horizon bc she cares /so deeply/ for shepard and u cant tell me otherwise AND she was justified in being Really Suspicious at the beginning .. bye tbd.
